History Section

Behind the brand Section are two friends, Vojta and Zbyněk, who worked together for another project. It had to be abruptly ended in 2019, and for the guys it meant making an important decision - to take everything under their wing, establish their own brand and start building from scratch. The goal was clear, to offer customers limited sold-out products, especially sneakers and streetwear from Supreme, Bape, Fear of God Essentials, Vlone, Sp5der, Air Jordan, Nike, Yeezy, adidas, New Balance and many others.

26/07/2019 – store opening

In July, the original Section store was officially opened in Prague's Vinohrady. A smaller space with a selection of limited sneakers and clothing that was missing in Prague.

1 April 2020 – launch of the e-shop

The plan to launch the e-shop was from the very beginning of the section. The main motivation came only with the beginning of the covid crisis, when we were forced to temporarily close our store and could fully concentrate on creating a new website. Under the onslaught of customers who quickly refreshed their browsers when it was launched at 8 in the evening, the website did not work for about two hours.

10/10/2021 – store relocation

Plans for a new store in the center have already started at the beginning of 2021. The space on Jagellonská was no longer enough for us, especially the place to store sneakers. We have been looking for a suitable place for a long time, and in July a contract was signed on a new, larger place. The store project according to our ideas was created for us by Richard Krajnak and the implementation was arranged by Wellen Retail Experience. The construction work was completed at the beginning of October and we opened the new store together with the opening party on 10/10/2021.

13/11/2022 – new e-shop

After more than 2 years, we decided to improve the functionality and clarity of our e-shop, which was no longer up-to-date in the original version. You can now simply scroll through categories, look at recommended products, choose directly by size or switch currency and language. Creating an account has also been added to the user interface, where you can see your order history and make future purchases easier.

Plans for the future

Still delivering the most exciting and limited editions from the world of sneakers and streetwear. Expanding the offer and doing a bunch of events for our community, which comes first. If everything goes according to plan, we want to open another store for you, which will have no analogues in the Czech Republic!
